Handmade/stitched Needle case Workshop
A celebration of the stitch!
A workshop to make a needlecase totally by hand.
Using old, worn, past their best textiles, we will embellish either with decoration supplied by Viv or to make the piece more personal, bring along your own imagery, textiles, fabrics, haberdashery etc.
We shall have fun showcasing the stitch, old and new.
Playing with layering, surface texture and the sheer joy of creating something new and useful
from time worn textiles.
If you do not wish to make a Needle case and wish to work on other ideas/pieces,
this is perfectly fine. Some ladies have been before and may wish to develop other pieces.
